| Medica Optum provides support when employees are dealing with personal issues. Master's-level counselors can work with members, their families or other significant people in their lives to help identify troubling issues, suggest coping skills and discuss possible plans of action. |

Optum lines are open, toll-free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is no need for an appointment or to leave home or work. When appropriate, counselors can connect members with a local counselor who can address their concerns in person, or help members get care through Medica or affordable community resources.
Additionally, Medica Optum helps managers and supervisors address complex issues that challenge productivity, profitability and morale.
