Medica Advantage Solution Standard, Medica Advantage Solution Standard with Rx and Medica Advantage Solution Choice Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Medicare products that are available to residents of Minnesota and parts of North Dakota. As of 2010, these two plans will no longer be available to Wisconsin residents.
Medicare Advantage Private Fee-for-Service plan works differently than a Medicare supplement plan. Your doctor or hospital can continue to treat you if it agrees to accept our terms and conditions of payment, and thus may choose not to treat you, with the exception of emergencies. If your doctor or hospital does not agree to accept our payment terms and conditions, they may choose not to provide health care services to you, except in emergencies. Providers can find the plan’s terms and conditions on our website at www.medica.com.
If you would like to learn more information on how Private-Fee-for-Service plans work, please review the
CMS Private-Fee-for-Service Plan Leaflet .
Medicare beneficiaries may enroll in Advantage Solution Standard plans through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Online Enrollment Center, located at http://www.medicare.gov / Medicare Options Compare (MOC) and Medicare Prescription Drug Finder (MPDPF) / Online Enrollment Center (OEC).
