Access to Primary Care: You may see any primary care provider affiliated with the primary care clinics in this care system.
Access to Specialty Care: A referral is required. If specialty care is recommended, your primary care physician will refer you to a specialist and will help coordinate your care.
The Allina Care System is an intergrated delivery system comprised of the Abbott Northwestern Physician Hospital Organization and the Allina Medical Clinic. We have over 65 primary care locations and widely recognized specialists who work closely with our primary care providers. The Allina Care System includes Abbott Northwestern, United, Mercy, Unity and other Allina and community hospitals serving our non-metropolitan clinics.
Our Mission is to provide an excellent health care experience for our patients. Your selection of the Allina Care System will provide you comprehensive services from providers dedicated to clinical quality and service satisfaction. We offer a broad range of care in easily accessible locations. Our clinics offer specialty and diagnostic services on site. Many sites also offer mental health services, pharmacies, complete eye services and extended day and weekend hours.
