Minnesota Health Care Programs

Medica has provided health care coverage to Minnesota members for more than 30 years. We are proud to offer these health care coverage options to serve the various needs of Minnesota residents.

• Medica Choice Care^SM and Medica MinnesotaCare are for individuals eligible for Medical Assistance, General Assistance Medical Care and MinnesotaCare who have chosen Medica coverage through their county resources.
  
  
• Medica AccessAbility Solution Special Needs Basic Care Plan is for individuals who receive State of Minnesota Medical Assistance and who have a developmental disability or are certified as disabled through the Social Security Administration or State Medical Review Team. Medicare-eligible individuals must be signed up for both Parts A and B.
  
  
• Medica DUAL Solution for Minnesota Senior Health Options serves individuals age 65 and over who receive Medical Assistance and Medicare-eligible individuals who have signed up for both
  Parts A and B.
