DUAL Solution Program Overview

Medica DUAL Solution / MSHO is a voluntary health care management program that is for Minnesota seniors (over 65 years) who are eligible for:

  • Both Part A and B with Medicare
  • Medical Assistance benefits

Medica DUAL Solution offers great member service and flexibility. You choose the doctor and care system that are easy for you to visit and we assign the care coordinator who will best meet your needs. Our care coordinators are nurses or social workers, so they know who to call and what to do to arrange other services you may need. DUAL Solution offers:

* These services are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they are not subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the Medica grievance process

Medica Dual Solution® is a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan product offered by Medica Health Plan, a health maintenance organizations with a Medicare contract. The contract with CMS is renewed annually, so availability of coverage beyond the current contract year is not guaranteed. Medica Dual Solution® is a registered service mark of Medica.
