You have access to a registered nurse 24/7 by phone. Get guidance on treatment options and support for non-urgent illnesses. Nurses can also provide simple, self-care tips for non-urgent concerns.

One Pass™ Fitness program

Your health plan offers a no-cost, complete fitness solution for your body and mind.


With One Pass you get access to:

  • A huge nationwide network of gyms
  • Thousands of on-demand fitness videos and livestreaming fitness content
  • Brain HQ for personalized brain training
  • Live and virtual social events and clubs to support your social well-being
  • No-cost unlimited public transportation where available to One Pass gym locations. Where public transportation is not available, you can get up to three (3) round trips per week with a volunteer driver or taxi to One Pass gym locations.

Grocery savings

Healthy Savings

You get no-cost access to the Healthy Savings program. It helps you and your family eat nutritiously and save money on your grocery bill. Shop for promoted items and scan your Healthy Savings card or barcode from the app at checkout at stores in the Healthy Savings network.


Healthy Foods

Our Healthy Foods program provides a monthly allowance of up to $20 for healthy foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, bread, nutritional drinks, coffee, breakfast foods, pasta, and more. Activate your Healthy Savings card, and scan it or your barcode from the Healthy Savings app at checkout at participating Healthy Foods stores. Conveniently shop for non-perishable items online. The benefit resets each month, there is no carry-over month to month.

Ovia Health™ Apps

Ovia has three apps to support women who are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant:

  • Ovia
  • Ovia Pregnancy
  • Ovia Parenting

These apps include trackers and calendars, daily updates and wellness tips, articles, checklists, feedback, and one-to-one coaching. When you identify yourself as a Medica member in the apps you get access to an enhanced experience.

Medica's Pregnancy Program

Get personal support, guidance, and information from a registered nurse throughout your pregnancy. We also offer online resources, recommended services, and give tips via text message. Our goal is for you and your baby to achieve optimal health throughout pregnancy and during the first six weeks after delivery.

These pregnancy resources cost you nothing extra.

Case management

If you have a serious or chronic health condition, our Case Managers will work with you to help you understand your condition, manage your medications, develop and support your personal care plan, and follow up on your progress.

Chronic condition management

Get support managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and/or high blood pressure. A registered nurse will review your chronic condition(s), help you create personalized health goals, and give you ongoing support.

Quitting tobacco

If you are ready to quit tobacco, we offer personal support from a specially-trained health coach at no cost to you.

Medica AccessAbility Solution® Enhanced is an HMO D-SNP that contracts with both Medicare and the Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program to provide benefits of both programs to enrollees. Enrollment in Medica AccessAbility Solution Enhanced depends on contract renewal.

American Indians can continue to use tribal and Indian Health Services (IHS) clinics. We will not require prior approval or impose any conditions for you to get services at these clinics. For elders age 65 years and older this includes Elderly Waiver (EW) services accessed through the tribe. If a doctor or other provider in a tribal or IHS clinic refers you to a provider in our network, we will not require you to see your primary care provider prior to the referral.
