You have no-cost 24/7 phone access to a registered nurse. Get guidance on treatment options and support for non-urgent illnesses. The nurses can also provide simple, self-care tips for non-urgent concerns.

Case management

If you have a serious or chronic health condition, our Case Managers will work with you to help you understand your condition, manage your medications, develop and support your personal care plan, and follow up on your progress.

Chronic condition management

Get support managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and/or high blood pressure. A registered nurse will review your chronic condition(s), help you create personalized health goals, and give you ongoing support.

Pregnancy support

Ovia Health™ apps

Ovia has three apps to support women who are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant:

  • Ovia
  • Ovia Pregnancy
  • Ovia Parenting

These apps include trackers and calendars, daily updates and wellness tips, articles, checklists, feedback, and one-to-one coaching. If you identify yourself as a Medica member in the apps you will get access to an enhanced experience.

Pregnancy program

Get personal support, guidance and information from a registered nurse throughout your pregnancy. We also offer online resources, recommend services, and provide tips via text message. Our goal is for you and your baby to achieve optimal health throughout pregnancy and during the first six weeks after delivery.

American Indians can continue to use tribal and Indian Health Services (IHS) clinics. We will not require prior approval or impose any conditions for you to get services at these clinics. For elders age 65 years and older this includes Elderly Waiver (EW) services accessed through the tribe. If a doctor or other provider in a tribal or IHS clinic refers you to a provider in our network, we will not require you to see your primary care provider prior to the referral.
