You'll need information found on your Medica ID card to register for mymedica.com. This includes your group or policy number (5 or 6 digits) and your member ID number (9 digits).
If you do not have an ID card, but you do know your group or policy number, you can register for mymedica.com using your Social Security number in place of your member ID number.
If you have already registered and used mymedica.com before but are now having trouble accessing your account, your group or policy number may have changed.
Check your current ID card to see whether your group or policy number has changed. If it has changed, you'll need to re-register on mymedica.com using your new group or policy number.
Depending on your employer and your health care plan, you may receive your ID card as early as two months before your Medica coverage begins. You can register for mymedica.com as soon as you receive your ID card, but full information about your new benefits will not be available on the site until the date that your coverage begins.
Claims for children under age 12 will display on mymedica when you or your spouse are logged in to the website.
Children who are age 12 will receive information in the mail about their health plan benefits.
Due to state and federal regulations, spouses and partners must register separately on mymedica.com.
