Closed Specialties List

Network Management completes an annual assessment of the Medica provider network. A network must be sufficient to meet the access and availability needs of Medica members throughout the service area.  A specialty can be deemed “open” when additional providers are needed or “closed” when no need exists.

Please see the list below of the specific Medica specialties for which the Medica provider network is open or closed in all of or parts of our service area (i.e., healthcare specialties for which Medica is or is not currently accepting applications to add new providers).  If your specialty is not listed below it is considered open across all of Medica’s service area.

Complete the Provider Contract Intake Form

Medica will contact you if there are questions.

Note: When credentialing is required, the submission of a completed credentialing application does not constitute a contract. Providers who require credentialing are required to meet Medica credentialing standards.
