Medica CallLink® gives employees access to a wide range of services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employees can call the toll-free number to speak with an experienced adviser or registered nurse.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Medica® Optum® Emotional Wellbeing Solutions, an EAP, can provide support when employees are dealing with personal, legal, financial or workplace issues. EAP phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
EAP is included with fully insured and max liability plans and is available for purchase by self-funded employers.

Referrals
A referral is a written recommendation from a member's primary care provider to see or receive care from another specialist outside a member's designated care system.
This only applies to members with Medica Elect or Medica Essential plans.
