expenses. Secure STM is great if you:
Whatever your situation, Secure STM is available to help fill the gap in your health coverage.
Who Your Care Comes From
With a Secure STM plan, you have access to discounted medical services through two national networks: ACS and MultiPlan. While you have the option to
choose any health care provider, the discounts available through network providers for covered services may help to lower your costs.

To qualify for Secure STM, you must:
Enrollment is accepted year round — meaning you don't need to wait for open enrollment. If approved, your coverage can begin as early as the day following
your online application or the postmark date stamped on your envelope. Coverage can last up to 364* days.
Secure STM has two options for premium payment: monthly or single pay. If you know exactly how many days you need coverage, you can pay the entire premium up front at a reduced rate.
Secure STM short-term coverage is not a Qualified Health Plan under the Affordable Care Act. This means it does not meet the federal health care reform
requirements to have minimum essential coverage; short-term policies are not required to under the law.
What does this mean for you?
This product doesn't comply with the minimum health plan requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; however, it's not required that this product meet these requirements.
Secure STM is insured by Standard Security Life Insurance Company of New York, a member of The IHC group. Secure STM is marketed and distributed by Medica.
* The maximum coverage period varies by state
