You can use your monthly allowance to buy the healthy foods you deserve:

- Fruits and vegetables
- Healthy grains, cereals, pastas, etc.
- Meat and seafood
- Nutritional shakes and bars
- Pantry staples – flour, spices, etc.
- Soups
- Water/vitamin water
We’ll automatically add new funds to your Healthy Savings account each month. And good news: Your food allowance works along with the discounts you get through the Healthy Savings program
Please note: All MSHO members upon enrollment will receive a Healthy Savings card with the Healthy Food and Utility Bill Pay allowances loaded. Any unused funds don't carry over from month to month.
How to use your Healthy Food allowance
You can buy the healthy foods you love in three easy ways:
- Visit a nearby retailer grocery store and have the cashier scan your Healthy Savings card or mobile app barcode at checkout. This is the same Healthy Savings card you received when you enrolled in the plan.
- Have non-perishable Healthy Food shipped directly to your home through the Healthy Savings app or website.
- Shop the full selection of items online from your local Walmart.
