Coverage for out-of-network services

For Medica Advantage Solution® (HMO-POS) members

Point-of-Service (POS) benefit

You'll pay your plan's coinsurance when you visit an out-of-network provider for non-emergency care. You may use any provider that accepts Medicare.

Most Medicare-covered services are covered. Out-of-network/non-contracted providers don't have to treat Medica Advantage Solution members, except in emergency situations. But most do.

Call Member Services using the number on your Medica ID card to learn more — including cost-sharing details for out-of-network services. You can also see your Evidence of Coverage document for info.
