Covered contraceptive care and services
We generally cover these categories:
- Cervical caps
- Condoms: Male and female
- Contraceptive education and counseling: For help to begin, continue, or end your use
- Contraceptive patches and sponges
- Diaphragms
- Emergency contraception: Levonorgestrel and ulipristal acetate
- Sterilization surgery for women
- Implantable rods: Placement, removal, and inspection
- Injectable contraceptives
- Intrauterine devices (copper or with progestin) — all durations and doses: Placement, removal, and inspection
- Oral contraceptives for extended or continuous use: Combined pill and progestin-only
- Spermicides
- Vaginal contraceptive rings
